1CADSource is comprised of a diverse group of design industry professionals, with core competencies ranging from advanced level CAD skills, to licensure in Architecture and Civil Engineering.

Douglas Gargaro :: Founder, Principal 

The firm was founded by Douglas Gargaro. Douglas has spent the past 7 years working and training under the tutilage of some of San Diego's most prominent architecture firms, including Salerno Livingston Architects and HMC. His varied skills include advanced level AutoCAD and Microstation production, solid Job Captain and Detailing abilities, Project Management and Construction Administration. Doug's wide range of project experience includes K-12 schools, multi-family residential (condos), restaurant, retail, commercial office tenant improvements, and industrial.

Prior to his professional architectural experience, in addition to his full-time studies at San Diego State University and Cuyamaca College, he spent over 7 years years forging his technical, professional, and CAD skills working as Lead CAD Technician and Designer for several San Diego building industry firms, including Construction Electronics Incorporated, and Engineered Systems.

Douglas studied Architecture at Cuyamaca College, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from San Diego State University, and is an active candidate for architectural licensure in the state of California.

Steven O'Leary :: Senior Design Director 

Steve is a gifted design architect, having received his California architectural license in 1993. He was a graduate of the esteemed professional architectural degree program at California State Polytechnic University, Pamona. Steve's broad ranging design background started with ultra high-end residential design, and progressed to include becoming an award-winning school designer in both K-12 and University projects.

In addition to his hands-on project experience ranging from project conception and design through construction administration, he has taught graduate and professional level design at UCLA.

Terry Elnaggar  :: Director of Environmental Engineering

Terry is a highly accomplished Civil and Environmental Engineer. His undergraduate work was done at Louisiana State University, and he graduated with a Masters of Civil and Environmental Engineering from Universtiy of California at Berkeley. He holds PE registration in Louisiana, New York, Texas, New Mexico, and Mississippi, and is in the process of obtaining registration in California. His diverse experience includes water permitting and compliance, air permitting and compliance, emission inventories and reporting, solid waste permitting and design, risk assessments, groundwater investigations, regulatory compliance, environmental process design, permitting, construction, and waste treatment system design.

In addition to his exceptional hands on engineering and management experience, Terry has published and presented material at numerous professional conferences and symposiums worldwide, including the Third International Symposium on Industry and Environment in the Developing World, Alexandria, Egypt, May 1991, the AIChE Environmental Conference, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, April, 1993, and many others.

Jacob Mathew :: Senior Environmental Engineer, Advisory Board Chairman

Mr. Mathew is retired from the state of Iowa's Department of Natural Resources after 25 years of service as Environmental Engineer in its Drinking Water Supply Section under the Environmental Protection Division. His primary emphasis there was heading the review of construction permit applications for drinking water supply projects to ensure compliance with the State and Federal Standards prior to issuance of permits. In addition, he managed Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund (SRF) projects by assisting in completion of initial project reviews.

Prior to joining the Iowa DNR, Mr. Mathew served for 18 years with the Public Works Department of the State of Kerala in India, before availing early retirement as Executive Engineer. During his tenure in Kerala, he supervised major construction projects such as Road systems, Highway  Bridges, Multi-story buildings and water supply projects. His long and accomplished career spans everything from the nuts and bolts of engineering and construction, to senior level project management and fiscal analysis. He lends an invaluable resource to the leadership and direction of 1CADSource's long term vision.

Suni Jacob :: Vice President, Accounting, Marketing and Business Development

Suni's diverse resume includes a Bachelors of Business in Finance, and a B.Sc. in Business Systems Management from Iowa State University, and the University of Illinois, respectively. She has served variously as a Business Analyst and Systems Analyst with several industry leaders in the Financial and Telecommunications sectors, including Transunion and Leap Wireless / Cricket Communications.

Suni's entrepreneurial experience includes the founding and management of a retail boutique, and subsequent retail consulting firm.  She lends invaluable expertise in marketing, PR, advertising, and business development.
